Thank you for stopping by. It's my hope you find glimpses of my Savior interwoven thru my writings. I am the wife to one husband for over 25 years, a blessed mama to a dozen children, yes each born from me ~ two of which see Jesus face to face & ten at home, all of us yearning to see Jesus someday. We have been home educating for over 18 years with . . . well, another 15 years to go (the youngest is 3, the oldest 23!) I have walked through rejection, to continually learning I am CALLED, LOVED and forever KEPT by God - never, ever to be rejected by Jesus! (Jude 1:1) I've walked through deep sorrow to find that joy does come again, though the night may be long; I've witnessed God orchestrating miracles with my children still beyond my comprehension, & I am seeing new love forming as we begin a new road of older children finding life mates. My life has and is a journey, from the deepest, almost rock bottom pit, to stumbling through my faith and looking towards the ultimate climax of everlasting life in heaven. Will you be joining me here and there? ~ Loni

THANKFUL THURSDAY - Life's Simple Pleasures!

It's Thankful Thursday AND I was tagged by No Average Girl! Since this tag has to do with naming ten of life's simple pleasures I like most - these ARE things I am thankful for, so I am doing this as my Thankful Thursday post as well. I am suppose to then to pick ten people to do the same. ANY VOLUNTEERS SO I DON'T HAVE TO TAG YOU?!?!?!?! Try to be original and creative and not to use things that someone else has already used.

"In every thing give thanks:
for this is the will of God
in Christ Jesus concerning you."

I Thessalonians 5:18
Thankful Thursday

In no particular order, my simple pleasures that I am thankful for:

  1. Our youngest crawling in bed every morning from her bed next to my side and snuggling with me. I know I will miss that some day.
  2. My husband saying my name.
  3. My children trying to get in the middle of my husband and I hugging because they want to be part of it too.
  4. My children bringing me flowers picked from the yard - even if they are dandelions!
  5. When teaching my children, and they finally understand a new concept and say "Oh! I get it!"
  6. Seeing my children enjoying reading books, and having had the priviledge to teach them how to read.
  7. Just a short simple note from a friend saying they are praying or care, or just thinking of me.
  8. The beautiful flowers poking up through the ground showing their beauty.
  9. A song coming on the radio at the right time to uplift my spirits & praise God.
  10. Love notes and drawings from my kids.

If you have participated, please leave a note below!
